Youth for Social Justice

Forms a network of youth, run by youth, who encourage each other to take leadership roles in their communities and schools, to increase understanding of social justice issues relevant to them such as sexism, ageism, racism, homophobia, multiculturalism, and environmental and community development issues.

Mi'kmaq Native Friendship Centre
Provides student tutoring, youth group, dance group, counselling for job, alcohol and drugs, domestive violence, or other personal issues, a needle exchange program, and a half-way house. Also offers upgrading computer skills courses. (See Details)
