Aurora Centre
Provides residential treatment, day treatment, and specialized after-care for women ages 19 and over with alcohol and other chemical dependencies. Programs provide group counselling, educational seminars, referrals, lifeskills training and alumni activities in a safe, structured environment. Empowerment approach supports each women's recovery and discovery of her power, choices, and abilities, which have been diminished through her misuse of alcohol and other drugs. Programming is based on a biopsychosocial-spiritual approach based on feminist principles.
Women's Addiction Foundation
Supports the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness of women whose lives have been affected by their misuse of, or dependency on alcohol or other drugs.
