Women’s Health in Women’s Hands Community Health Centre (WHIWH CHC), a non-profit organization, is launching our Have Faith in Healthy Living Project to support healthy living for Black Women and Women of Colour, including LGBTQ-identified women, from Caribbean, African, Latin American and South Asian communities in the Greater Toronto Area. They are recruiting women from faith communities to become health ambassadors who will conduct workshops in their communities to raise awareness, share information and strategies that support healthy living. The first phase of this project focuses on physical activity and, with your participation, WHIWH expects to reach more than 2000 community members and motivate them to get more active and stay active!
