The ENSEMBLE! Pan-Canadian Women’s Centres Conference, held in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1994 included delegates from eighty-five women’s centres who represented all ten provinces and two territories. The conference was a forum for women to meet, share ideas and resources, and develop a pan-Canadian network of women’s centres. This conference report includes summaries of workshops held on the health promotion work of women’s centres, women and literacy, poverty and development, anti-racism, advocacy and funding, aboriginal women, working with women from ethno-racial communities, and women and survivors of violence. There are also summaries of the full-group sessions on community and feminist leadership, accessibility and inclusion of disabled women, and building Ensemble, a pan-Canadian network of women's centres.
