2000 Good Reasons to March is based on comments gathered during the International Preparatory Meetin of the World March of Women in the Year 2000. During this meeting, held in Montreal, activists and representatives of organizations from the four corners of the earth, present their concerns on issues relating to poverty and violence against women. From India to Cuba, France to Hong Kong, Algeria to Morocco, Rwanda to Croatia, women from all over the world share their views on globalization, redistribution of wealth, recognition of rights and what steps should be taken to ensure a better quality of life for women.
