Provides healing from the effects of family violence using a holistic approach that involves the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well being of victim(s), children, offenders, extended families and the community. Targets Aboriginal people who are experiencing problems with family violence, as well as serving non-Aboriginal people who are in crisis and seeking support. Services offered include: support and assistance for women and children in the City of Prince Albert who are dealing with issues of family violence; individual and family counselling with special attention to children and the family unit; facilitating support groups; supporting families in dealing with other agencies while they are living in the City of Prince Albert; acting as a liaison with the justice system and a referral service to other agencies; providing follow-up services in Prince Albert and the home communities; developing a network of service providers in the home communities; and developing resource services.
