The Anne Johnson Health Station is a community health centre providing a range of programs and services that promote the health and well-being of individuals and their community. The Centre believes that illness prevention, health promotion and education lead to greater quality of life for everyone. The Barrier Free Health Zone offers family medicine and related services to people with disabilities involving the spine who reside in the City of Toronto. In addition to this, are services to Youth and Seniors in North Toronto.

The Salvation Army provides a number of services for all people in need. Both men's and women's residences are available, and the Crisis Stabilization Unit provides counselling and a place to stay. Also provided is the Work Readiness Program for help in finding employment, the Literacy Upgrading program, and the Family Tracing Service (Missing Persons).
